Hi, I’m Seraphina! I’m a photographer based in Santa Maria, California, originally from Chicago. I grew up in a big Italian-American family, where family gatherings, laughter, and plenty of photos were always part of life. Those memories are a big part of why I believe photography is so special—I love capturing the genuine little moments that make each family unique.
I studied photography at Columbia College Chicago, where I found myself torn between two passions: becoming a teacher or pursuing photography. I ultimately earned my BA in Photography and went on to build a professional career in the photography industry, working in photo production, retouching, content creation, and studio operations.
But my love for working with children never went away! I've worked as a nanny, summer camp art teacher, and volunteered for Coach Art where I taught yoga & ceramics, and those experiences taught me so much about patience, creativity, and connecting with kids. Today, family & newborn photography feels like the perfect fusion of the two things I’ve always loved most—creating art and connecting with kids and families!
My goal is to make every session feel natural, relaxed, and true to you, while creating beautiful photographs that capture the unique personality of your family!
